perfect for recording lectures at school
This app works quite well but the lite version records in low-res WAV format, which is ok. The major problem is the way it drops the recordings into the iTunes music files. There seems to be no way to specify a file folder for the recordings.
Good to run on the background. Lite version records neatly and the quality is decent. Wouldn’t use it for anything remotely musical but if you need to record a conversation - that’s the app. The resulting wav can be converted to mp3 with itunes.

Worked perfectly for my needs.
I use this to record my french lab sessions for a class. So far, I have absolutely no complaints. It’s easy to use and the files can easily be converted to whatever extension you need. I love it.
I dont like it
as its lite you can’t record in MP3 or anything , only in WAV format and its take a huge spice from you HDD .
I DOWNLOADED IT AND HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT SO FAR AND IF I DO THEN I WILL WRITE A NEW REVIEW BUT SO FAR SO GOOD.. THANKS AND RECOMMEND TO OTHERS
When I first opened this program, a window came up telling me that the quality might not be so good cause I was using the lite version. But the quality is good enough for me! It works well, wasn’t confusing at all. I highly recommend this product. I had tried a few other audio recorders from the app store, and they either limited me on how much i could record, or they just were very hard to figure out how to use. So if you want something simple, get this recorder!!
This is an easy to use recorder. It works great but I think the quality could be better. When I played a song from my computer and sang over it I could barley stand hearing what I recorded. My voice wasn’t as clear as I wanted it and it made my ears hurt but other than that this recorder was great.

I love this app. I needed something easy to use for voice recording and this fits the bill perfectly.
Well, it’s free so you can’t really complain. But ultimatively it’s very simplistic and just an upsell for the paid version. Can’t really get much done with it.

Not at all misleading. Works well for an audio recorder , especially a simple podcast.
I do animations (its called John and Loonof) and I couldn’t do sound because there was no voice memos or whatever app to record my voice. When I found this app I loved it. I simply just needed to record my voice then add it to the video. Although it has very little functionality because it’s a lite version, I still really loved it. Great app for people who need to add sound to anything.

Back-Up Files Only
You can’t listen to your recordings unless you exit the app and re-open it. It then tells you that your recording couldn’t be saved and that a back-up file is available. Only after this, for some reason, can you listen to both the original recording and backup file.
Unable to make recordings with the free version
Changed default input to USB and connected AI-8 Veteto device, but this app never made any recordings although IOS showed signal level at the USB input. Have to look for another app.

It’s in the name - Easy To Use
I’ve been using this audio recorder for a couple months now and the thing that continues to stand out with it is really in its name itself. It is extremely easy and simple to use. It’s not an editor but instead just a really good recorder. If you’ve got a decent set up at home with a good microphone and a clean room, it’ll get great results with this. Simply ensure that the input within your system settings is set to the right microphone, and start recording. It organizes every file directly into one folder within The finder, if you’re using a Mac. And do all my editing in a separate software so not having editing abilities is not a deterrent to me personally. If you’re looking for something easy to use when recording audio, I suggest getting this one. I’ve only ever had the light version, and though it asks for me to buy the new paid for version, I’ve stuck with this one.

It was not that good, it should have said you had to purchase full version and I might have not seen but either way quality is not good. Gets the job done tho
Rather Limited without buying the pro version
This is ackward to choose your input device - can't be done from inside the app even though it shows a pull down menu - have to use the sound section of system setup. Then you are limited to what they refer to as "Radio Quality" sampling rates unless you want to pay for higher quality - offers a max of 22K sampling rate - There are whole recording applications that are free and fully featured - I can't see a use for this in the "Lite" version and can't see paying anything for something so simple

Lite, no, just don't
I tried the light version, yes I know it will have some of the bells and whistles missing because it is the free version. But even the free version there are some major problems. First, it does not say where you recordings are saved. Secondly, when, at last I found which folder it was in, there was no audio playback. All other apps that record have no problem, so it has to be this program. But isn;t the major point of a recording audio app, is to, well you know, record audio

Terrible quality
Tried recording and the quality was terrible. Don't recommend if you're trying to do voiceover for YouTube.
Not Too Good
I was hoping for something with a little more finesse. The free version is exactly what you would expect to get with a free version...no features, hard to use, and a bad interface. I will just use what came with the OS.

Did not save. Ended up deleting the audio. It was long and I did not have anything written down. This is not intended I'm sure but it did not work for me.
